Trex Transcend rail hardware covers the parts a composite rail needs beyond the kit, and most of them exist because Transcend rails get cut.
A cut rail needs its own mounting hardware. The kit hardware is sized for a full section, so shortening a rail to fit a bay means a separate kit, in a horizontal or a stair version. Angled corners need birdsmouth gaskets sized to the turn.
