Trex Railing Posts
Trex railing posts are the structural aluminum posts that carry the guard, as opposed to the sleeves that dress a timber post.
Height is chosen by what you are building. A shorter post for a 36" guard, a taller one for 42", and a longer stair post cut to the rake on site. Which guard height applies is a local code question. Order stair posts long, because you cannot add material back.
