Deck Protection
Deck protection is everything that keeps water off the frame rather than off the boards. Capped composite decking outlives the pressure-treated lumber underneath it, so the frame is what fails first.
Most of it goes on before the deck boards. Tape over the joists, flashing at the ledger, drainage between the bays. Once the surface is screwed down that window shuts, and the next chance is a tear-off.
Order it with the decking, not after. Once the boards are down, fitting any of it means lifting them again. In stock.
