Trex Post Caps
Trex post caps close the top of the post and keep water out. Two decisions: flat or profiled, and lit or unlit.
Size to the sleeve, not the post. A cap described as 4x4 fits over a 4x4 post sleeve, and that sleeve is covering a smaller timber post. Measure the outside of the sleeve, not the timber, or the cap will not fit.
Lit caps run on the low-voltage Trex Lighting system and need a transformer. Priced online. Call (815) 439-3325.
