Trex balusters come round in aluminum or square in composite. Round reads lighter and lets more light through. Square matches the deck surface and looks heavier, more traditional.
Baluster length is not rail height. A baluster is shorter than the guard it sits in, because the rails take the difference. Order by the rail height you are building and let the part number handle the length.
