Trex Plugs & Plug Systems
Trex plugs & plug systems are how you get a screw-free looking surface on boards that cannot take a hidden clip. You face screw into a counterbored hole, then tap in a plug moulded from Trex board material so it carries the same grain and tone as the deck.
Three plug families, matched to the board rather than to preference: solid core deck boards, scalloped Enhance boards, and fascia. They are not interchangeable, because the bottom profile and the board thickness differ.
