Trex Transcend Universal Top/Bottom Rail

The Trex Transcend® Universal Rail is a horizontal composite rail designed to attach between two posts and support balusters. Available in 6 ft. (actual length 67.5 in.) or 8 ft. (actual length 91.5 in.), this versatile component can function as a top rail, bottom rail, or both - depending on your railing design.

When used as a top rail, it supports a horizontal 2x4 or 1x6 deck board (sold separately), allowing you to create a convenient drink rail surface. For installation, an infill kit and balusters (sold separately) are required. The infill kit provides all the necessary mounting brackets and hardware for securing the deck board and balusters to the Universal Rail.
