FastenMaster FlatLOK is a versatile structural wood-to-wood fastener, serving as an alternative to nails and through bolts for attaching multi-ply LVL, dimensional beams, and girder trusses. The FlatLOK fastener is user-friendly, requiring no predrilling, which saves both time and money. Its flat head sits flush with the wood surface, making it easy to apply drywall or trim.

FlatLOK is designed for single-sided installation, making it suitable for both ground-level and elevated applications. The TORX® ttap® drive system ensures a secure bit fit, minimizing the risk of stripping. The included stability button allows for maximum penetration and a wobble-free drive. Each box comes with a free TORX ttap bit.

FlatLOK fasteners are tested and supported by engineering data that meets the latest ICC standards and are approved for use in ACQ or treated lumber. Installation requires an impact driver or a high-torque 1/2" variable speed drill (minimum 18V if cordless). No predrilling is necessary when properly installed. Ensure the fastener sits flush with the wood surface without overdriving. For LVL beams, consult FastenMaster's online technical bulletins and the engineered wood manufacturer's technical information for load and engineering requirements. For other applications, a Professional Engineer (PE) may be consulted for proper connection design.
